Emma Stone vazhdoi sezonin e saj të pabesueshëm të sukseseve me filmin që i ka habitur të gjithë, “La La Land”, duke fituar çmimin “Performancë e Shkëlqyer nga një Aktore”. Edhe pse u mësua tashmë të fitojë çdo çmim të mundshëm aty jashtë me këtë film, aktorja 28 vjeçare tha se “do t’i biente të fikët”.

Dhe ndërsa suksesin e radhës të “La La Land” nuk e vinte në diskutim njeri, mbrëmja e djeshme pati edhe surpriza. Denzel Washington fitoi çmimin “Performancë e Shkëlqyer nga një Aktor”, diçka që u konsiderua nga shumë si e padrejtë dhe e habitshme në edicionin e 23-të të Screen Actors Guild Awards. Të gjithë prisnin që në fron të ulej Casey Affleck për performancën në filmin e tij “Manchester by the Sea”, por ja që nuk ishte e thënë.

Ky nuk ishte momenti i vetëm që i la të gjithë pa fjalë. Filmi “Hidden Figures” mori çmimet më të mëdha së bashku me “Performancë e Shkëlqyer nga një Kast”, duke mundur pretendenten kryesore “Moonlight” në eventin në Los Angeles.
